NAF AT THE CONEXPO 2020 IN LAS VEGAS

ConExpo, the largest trade fair for construction machinery and material handling in North America, was held again this year in Las Vegas.

International machine manufacturers used this event to showcase their latest products and track-proven technology. NAF also took this opportunity to present its products and to make more contacts.

In addition to a planetary bogie axle, which was especially developed for the construction industry and can be used in motor graders and dump trucks for example, NAF also presented a very compact hydrostatic 2-engine gearbox (DualSync®), which enables continuously variable travel up to the maximum speed range and can be used for a wide variety of applications.

A planetary rigid axle was also on display, which is used, for example, in harbour cranes or in wheeled gantry cranes. This rigid axle can be operated hydraulically or electrically.

As NAF is broadly positioned with its product range in various industries, a planetary portal bogie axle was also on show, which is in great demand in the forestry industry for heavy machinery due to its portal stage.

NAF also exhibited a directly driven steering axle with adjustable track width, which is mainly used in four-wheel drive agricultural combines and can be supplied with electronic attachments and a hydraulic motor on request.

Despite the tense situation and cancellations of some exhibitors due to the coronavirus pandemic, NAF was pleased to welcome a number of visitors who showed a lively interest in its products. The response from customers and interested visitors was very positive throughout and the appearance of the NAF team was highly appreciated. The company’s position on the North American market was successfully strengthened and NAF is already looking forward to the ConExpo in 2023!
