Run against cancer in Erlangen
On 12 October 2024, the 11th Run Against Cancer (Lauf gegen Krebs) took place in the castle gardens (Schlossgarten) in Erlangen. Around 2,500 runners gathered in beautiful weather to set an example in the fight against the disease. The event attracted not only experienced athletes, but also many amateur runners and families who wanted to get involved for a good cause.
NAF was the main sponsor of the event for the second time in a row. NAF was represented on site by a total of 29 runners who enthusiastically took part in the race. In total, the NAF runners completed almost 400 laps. The atmosphere was great again and numerous spectators supported the runners along the route.
With every step, the runners sent out a strong signal of community and solidarity. The success of the run shows how important it is to support such initiatives and raise awareness of cancer.
