BOGIE AXLES

NAF bogie axles, also known as tandem axles, master the most extreme operating conditions in heavy-duty vehicles in agriculture, construction and forestry. Especially for off-road machines, this 4-wheel axle ensures optimum load distribution and traction for the machine.

This NAF bogie axle is available in various sizes and shapes and covers axle loads from 10 to 50 tons. Through the patented Permanent Bogie Balancing System (PBBS®), NAF has created a solution for optimised traction and load distribution in any driving situation. Customers worldwide rely on NAF’s decades of experience – THE world market leader for bogie axles. With NAF’s wide-ranging modular system, bogie axles can be customised in a large variance for the respective vehicle.

E-DRIVE FOR BOGIE AXLES

NAF axles can be driven either by a drive shaft or by a directly mounted hydro motor or electric motor. This also applies to semi-bogies in the dissolved design.

spare parts supply

Thanks to a long-standing spare parts supply, NAF customers can obtain spare parts such as cylinders, thrust washers or bearings from NAF to keep the axles in their tractor units in good condition for a long time.

BOGIE AXLE TAP 54

This bogie axle in the classic design with extended ground clearance at the differential was specially developed for forestry machines and vehicles for heavy transport off-road and is now also used in agricultural machines.

BOGIE AXLE TAP 89

This planetary bogie axle with flat axle beam was designed for heavy loads and high speeds and is therefore perfectly suited for use in construction machines as well as mining machines such as motor graders and dump trucks. At 60 km/h, it can handle an axle load of up to 50 tonnes.
