„Fit for the Future“ An idea turns into success

In 2005 the apprentice shop was modernized and became a training center, inaugurated November 25, 2005, the program “Fit for the Future’ was launched.

A foresighted company philosophy, aside from economic figures, teamed with innovative instructors, an excellent collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and the trade school lets this program become a success.

After Mr. Sebastian Pruetting was honored by the Chamber of Commerce in July 2009, Mr. Tobias Wimmelbacher was awarded the “Foerdervereinspreis” during the graduation ceremony at the occupational training center in Forchheim.

We are pleased about this special award for Mr. Wimmelbacher, as it again proves the high level of standards of NAF’s educational program. The average mark of the practical finals 2009 was 1.38, the total average – theory and practical – was 1.75.

Mr. Wimmelbacher completed his occupational training with the mark of 1.0 and was therefore a candidate for the “Staatspreis”.

In accordance with the by-laws however, this prize is not awarded to a grade 12 graduate, only students of a secondary school. The prize was given to a secondary general school student who had mark of 1.2, merited – we believe.

In 2005 the goal for “Fit for the Future” was defined as – collectively planning careers and success and devising the future.

The commendation of Mr. Wimmelbacher underlines this impressively.

After receiving his technical diploma and finishing an apprenticeship it was evident that Mr. Wimmelbacher would study mechanical engineering and after receiving his degree would be working in our design and engineering department.

Mr. Wimmelbacher will begin his studies in October 2010, until that time he will be working in our Quality Department.

We wish Mr. Wimmelbacher well, much success and hope that he will find his way back to NAF..

"We were again close to our customers," Peter Illig, Sales Representative of NAF, in the end of the CTT in Moscow

The business climate in Russia is still very good, the country's economic development remains on a growth track. Russia is currently one of the most attractive markets in the world and Germany, despite the strong penetration of the Chinese, foreign trade partner number 1. For the bulk of German exhibitors it was not the first time to participate the CTT in Moscow – same to NAF. In its premiere at the 2006 CTT NAF had made outstanding good experience regarding customer acquisition. This year the staff of the Russian branch of NAF from Ekaterinburg and Peter Illig as German representative of the company could again get in contact with many new companies, but had also time for discussions with existing customers. The unanimous tenor is that CTT is still the fair with the greatest importance in the Moscow area. The number of visitors as well as the quality of the trade visitors are evaluated as good. The follow-up of the fair will now show what future business will arise from all the discussions which were held.

NAF at CTT Moscow
It is the second time after 2006 that NAF will exhibit at the CTT in Moscow. Since its foundation in 2000, the CTT has rapidly developed into the most important trade fair for construction equipment and technology in Russia and the CIS. Its concept offers international machinery and equipment manufacturers the opportunity of entering the markets of Russia and the CIS and of surrounding regions. This year it will take place from June 17 – 21. It is already the fifth time that german companies present themselves in the German Pavilion. In hall 8 you will find more than 40 german companies presenting their products. NAF will be one of them and we would be pleased to welcome you on our booth No. 8/630-2.
